Kinetic chromogenic LAL (USP <85>), run in-house on a cartridge reader and reported in endotoxin units per mL, with the positive product control and reaction-time precision printed on its own certificate, in the same sealed, publicly verifiable format as every KMD certificate.

Orders are open now; vials run in the first batch the week the reader is installed, then 5–7 business days from receipt. Frequently asked questions
Do you sell peptides?
No. KMD Analytical is an independent, third-party testing lab only — we don't sell peptides, so we have no incentive to report anything but what the instrument measured.
What do you test on each peptide?
Three numbers on every sample: identity (against a certified reference standard), chromatographic purity (area %), and net-peptide assay — the actual milligrams of peptide per vial, which most testing skips. More on purity vs. net-peptide content.
Do you run LC-MS / mass spec, sterility, or heavy-metals testing?
No. We're an RP-HPLC-UV lab and we say so plainly. We do not run mass-spec confirmation, sterility, or heavy-metals testing. The one addition is bacterial endotoxin (USP <85>, kinetic chromogenic LAL), run in-house as a $150 per-vial add-on and reported on its own certificate — it is not a sterility test. If your job needs a capability we don't have, we'll tell you and point you to a lab that does.
How long does testing take?
Standard turnaround is typically 5–7 business days from when your sample arrives at our lab, with 7 business days as the maximum. Rush (+100%) is the next business day: vials received by 12:00 PT, certificate by the end of the next business day, on orders up to 4 vials. Larger rush batches are quoted by arrangement. Turnaround is measured from receipt — shipping is separate.
How much does it cost?

Can I trust the certificate you issue?
Every COA carries a QR code and a SHA-256 hash — a fingerprint of the exact PDF. Anyone can drop the file into our verifier to confirm KMD issued it and that not a single character has been altered. See a sample COA.
Can I send samples from outside the United States?
Yes — by express courier (FedEx, UPS or DHL Express), not by post: since 24 July 2026 every postal parcel entering the US needs its own customs entry and bond, while a courier's brokerage files the entry. Address the box to KMD Group LLC dba KMD Analytical as a laboratory sample for analytical testing, ship sealed vials at room temperature, and ask for our customs declaration and letter of purpose if useful. What do I declare on the customs paperwork?
One line per vial on the commercial invoice: "Synthetic peptide, lyophilized powder, X mg, sealed glass vial — laboratory sample for analytical testing only, not for resale, not for human or animal use, non-hazardous." Declare a realistic replacement value for each vial — never zero, and never "no commercial value" on its own — and select duties and taxes billed to the shipper. On request we supply a customs declaration and letter of purpose on our letterhead; it is an accommodation, not a guarantee of clearance.
Do you charge VAT or GST, and what currency do I pay in?
All prices are in US dollars (USD). Your card issuer converts at its own rate and may add a foreign-transaction fee. We do not add VAT or GST to invoices — the service is performed in California. Business customers can have their tax ID printed on the invoice on request. Any US duty, brokerage or carrier fee on an inbound parcel is the shipper's.
